I graduated from the University of Sussex in 1987 as a BA English and Classics.
After travelling and working in a variety of jobs I began my publishing career in 1992 as Assistant Editor (subsequently Managing Editor) at Book Guild Publishing in Lewes.
In 1994 I joined Open University Press as Production Editor and the following year was appointed Books Editor at GMC Publications. In 1997 I took the plunge and went freelance, so this year will be my tenth anniversary of trading.
My current clients include McGraw-Hill Europe (academic non-fiction), Rotovision (illustrated design-led books), William Reed Publishing (magazine sub-editing) and the Association of Learning Providers (web-based guides to recent legislation in education).
